I'm an aunt!
My sister had her baby this morning, Delia Jane. She was in labor for 30 hours, but the only medication she took was a sedative at 1am so that she could try to sleep for a couple hours. She's definitely braver than I am! My mom flew from Virginia to California yesterday to be there, and she assures me that Delia is the sweetest baby ever. I kind of doubt that, because I happen to know that my son Bear was the sweetest baby ever. I know this because when he was 11 months old and his sister Ladybug was born, he wasn't jealous at all - he just cuddled her and kissed her every chance he got....
