The HD Factor
I have this dark secret--- I have a crush on Jake Gyllenhaal. No, I don't Google him like I do with Johnny Depp and his family, and I don't keep pictures of him like I do with Pokey. But when I see him on TV or in pictures, I just start--- swooning. I can't help it. He seems too irresistible, too--- hot.
My hidden desire did not start in Bubble Boy (the first movie I saw him in), but in The Day After Tomorrow. It was in one scene (I don't exactly remember which one) where I just started swooning.
And then the show ends and I forget about him.
But once in a while, since he's in this...
This is not a review of The Dark Knight
It has been a long
time since I stepped inside a movie house, and boy was I happy! Despite a long
list of "things to do", I managed to drag my mother to the nearest
deserted mall to watch The Dark Knight,
the latest Batman movie. I've been itching to see it because of Heath Ledger
and the ubiquitous rave reviews I've been reading.
It was a good
movie, and I daresay, one of my favorites this year. I enjoyed it, and though
it dragged in some areas, it had this sense of evil fun in it. I'm not exactly
sure about that, but that's how it felt watching it in the big...

Dalawang exams next week. Makulit na invitation. Isolated parents. Impending field trips. Sibling Identity (-cum location) crisis. Three movies screaming 'watch me!'. Two mangas screaming 'read me!'. Isa pang makulit na text para sa araw na ito. Isang kaibigang lumilitaw lang kapag nasa elbi ako. Older sibling responsibility. Paper/project due next week. microscope. Vertigo. 100/100 vision.
