Unconsciously Weird!
I don't know what's gotten into me these days. All of a sudden I've started to write songs and short stories in all my spare time. The subject matter of these literatures are quite private but I can tell you that they're about varied subjects. Heck, they're mostly pretty emo and deep, lamenting pieces but still, I'm amazed at my own capacity to turn out creative thoughts besides in essays and theoretical physics, haha. This could turn out to be a lucrative and enjoyable pastime for me in the future. *Sigh*...I wish I could have it all back, but now it's a different life and I guess I've...
White Roses
You should know by now, really.
That this could end, really.
You should know I could never make it work (wake up)
It's pretend...really
There, do you like the way the water tastes
Like gunfire, and you knew but you could never say
Then come forth...'cause it's coming round.
Beware the water...
You should know babe...at least pretend...
There is (no time) it's not like you were warned so go on take a drink release.
There, do you like the way the water tastes?
You knew that it was never safe
Think once more 'cause it's coming round once more.
Beware the water...
Your teeth are dry
And the wind...
A Trial
The other day, I composed an album of various songs - sad and slow. Some of them were ballads depicting the grace and charm that leave, and others were about getting back on top of life. I suppose, then, that I will find it hard in the coming...time...for a lack of better temporal terms; neither days, weeks, nor months are ideal for this expression. And already I'm finding it hard to bear. I put so much into the last portion of my high school tenure - was it in folly and vain? Some say so. And of course, some suggest that it's something to be shaken off. Nonetheless, I feel torn in half...
Statement of Intent
Well, I'm in the midst of writing my midterms right now, but I'm still finding time away from the books to put some of my thoughts up again. Today's special is a double serving of CD review goodness plus some good ol' bitchin'.
CD REVIEW: Dry Cell - Disconnected
Ok folks, I won't lie. This isn't a new album. It's actually a very old album...but the catch is, you'll never - and I bet my arse on this - find Disconnected in stores. Why? Because the retail studio album never made it into production. For the history behind the situation, have a look at Dry Cell's Wiki at...
