Martin releases a new EP
Martin Mulholland's latest EP which was recorded some months ago. It contains 7 tracks which have been the staple songs at his gigs when playing originals, in various venues, in Sydney. These songs were originally just acoustic and vocal songs which have been transformed into full band numbers with the help of his good friend and very talented drummer, Luke Davison. Marching to a different...YEP! ....drum.
I have to admit it and it was no doubt obvious, at the time, the part of the annual schools athletics carnivals that I found least appealling was the marching competition, held at the beginning. My theory was that, after World War 2, many teachers had been soldiers and saw merit in instilling discipline through lots of standing at ease and at attention and marching in perfect step. I was always more for marching to a different drum and taking the road less travelled. :) :( Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting. Sundays were too far away, that year. But out of that...
