Baby Shawn Patrick - 4.5.09
Today was my first day back to work (woo hoo!) and I spent the afternoon
shooting for Tracy & Shawn. There were too many coincidences here. We both
had C-Sections, our husbands names are Shawn, and their baby's name is Shawn
Patrick which happens to be my husband's full name. We had a great time shooting
and talking about babies. These two were fantastic, offering great words of
encouragement and hope to this mom of a newborn! Anyway, little Shawn is too
adorable for words, I couldn't get enough of him and he was a GREAT sport,
not a tear the entire shoot. Here's a little sneak...
Baby Elliott is Home!
We finally came home from the hospital with our little man yesterday!
Shawn Elliott Plunkett was born on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 1:22pm.
He's the most amazing accomplishment I've ever made in my life. We couldn't
be happier. He's a perfect little baby and so easy to please. I never knew how
little grunts and squeaks would make me so happy I could cry. We could spend
all day and night just staring at our little guy. Anyway, I can't move around very
well yet, but in a few days I'll be doing his newborn session. In the meantime,
here are some pictures from the...
Sisters - Maya & Leila
I've been shooting Maya since she was a newborn and for the first few sessions
she loved the camera. Then something happened and she has now forced me to
shoot undercover/commando style! It's pretty funny. I shot Leila's newborn session
and she is now about to turn one! It's pretty amazing. I've seen some fast crawlers,
but none as speedy as little Leila. We had a fun day running around in the cold at
the park in Santa Clarita yesterday and managed to dodge the rain just in the nick
of time! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot:
Valerie & Jaime - A Maternity Session
I got to shoot Valerie & Jaime, super adorable parents-to-be, yesterday. We had
a great time talking pregnancy, babies, nurseries and many other things. I forgot
to ask permission to blog everything, so for now here are just a handful of my
favorites from their shoot. Can't wait to shoot baby Joshua's newborn session in
a couple of months!
