This never gets old
It's just the 3rd week of school and already I am no longer sleeping! WTF?! When did I lose my ability to manage time properly? Or did I really have it in the first place? SHIZNIT. I do not want to have eyebags the size of NCR tomorrow. (I was going to say Texas but our prof always says to localize it.) I am doing a feature article on MYSELF. I thought this was going to be easy. Talking about oneself is one of the easiest tasks on Earth. But demmit, this is still an academic paper so rambling on and on about myself is not really advisable. And I'm still not ready for our group report. And...

Jinxing myself
I probably shouldn't talk about my subjects yet because I still have one class to attend tomorrow, a Saturday, for goodness sake. I have not learned my lesson. Anyway, let us see if my first impressions last. Last sem, my most feared subject, Comm120 (media laws class) was one of my favourites, despite having to read tons of cases. It was really fun and I learned a lot. Communication Research 101 - Introduction to Communication Research (Tuesday) Mini-thesis alert! This subject, they say, will give us a peek on what it's like to do our thesis. So I am predicting a lot of sleepless Monday...

Today, those old ladies working at the Shrine asked me and my dad to offer the... ehm, offerings? LOL that was the first time that ever happened. I think they chose us because I was the only one wearing a dress and my dad just happened to sit beside me. And the funniest thing was that my dad and I weren't even listening to the homily (which was the part before the offering thing). Our heads were bobbing up and down because we were so sleepy and the priest's homily was not engaging at all. His voice drone on and on and he didn't say anything substantial. Most of the time, he just translated...

Sembuhreak 09?
The first sem is done and it's time for those retrospect posts again. Or whatever. LOL So the first sem was pretty mean. Well, not exactly the entire sem, just the last part. But the last few weeks exhausted me pretty much that it felt like the entire sem itself was tiring. Especially the last few days without sleep. That was torture. For real. With all my deadlines the same day, it's a wonder I managed to pass three of them on time. The last one? Eh, I'd rather not talk about it. Class-wise, first sem was interesting. Despite having 21 grueling units of college madness, my schedule was...
