Today whilst commuting from Adambakkam to Airport negotiating Alandur Cement Road and Thillai Ganga Nagar subway of Nanganallur, I saw one interesting street name opposite to Alandur Bus Depot. It was reading like 'Mareesan First Street'. In the epic story of Ramayana, Mareesan was the demon who had the power and prowess to take any form as he choses. He chose the form of a deer to lure away Sri Rama and Sri Lakshmana so that Sri Seetha was left off and hence could be abducted by Ravana.
