Computer iliteracy setting in
Geez, I haven't blogged regularly for a while and there have been some changes to Blogdrive. One can now add categories to the sidebar! Cool - only, now I have to figure out how to add it.
I've also installed Firefox on both of our computers and now everything looks "F@*&" up in the browser. I'll blame hubby until otherwise proven - he must have changed the settings!!
A pot of coffee, or two, should get my head around what's going on (or maybe not).

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, do I have some (paper) work ahead of me!!
I just received notice from Homeland Security/Immigration that they need more "evidence" of the legality of our marriage. One of the items listed is a copy of our wedding invitations..... from 2004. Man! It's both our second marriages, we're not into clutter - not much was saved. Oh yeah... this could be fun.
Photos - I'll also need photos dating back to when we met. That too, will be a fun task - especially since I'm usually the one snapping photos around here (i.e., I seem to be absent from most "events"). And if I'm not...
Felting success!
Using the same yarn for the WHOLE slipper made a difference - these came out perfectly!
I used a thinner yarn than asked for in the pattern so these ended up a child's size 30, following instructions for the small women's size.
The yarn used is Patons Classic Wool (currently on sale at Meijer's at 50% off - they're getting rid of their stock of semi-good yarns.... synthetics only from now on).
Alrighty then, now I'll try making these a tad bigger - say, women's sz. 8. :-)
New vehicle - new troubles
Hubby got himself a new vehicle! It's a bit on the "fancy schmancy" side - really, who needs a/c seats?! It drives like a dream though - very quiet, smooth ride and comfortable seats (without the a/c on!).
Let's not forget the best thing about this new ride - I now have MY car back!!!!

Last night around midnight there's a loud knock on our front door. It's a police officer (for a brief moment I thought someone had sent me a handsome stripper - he was cute!).
Anyhow.... turns out someone reported a hit & run with major damage to their back bumper -...
